Melons

Melons

Central Asian Bazaar

Melons have been grown, prized and lauded in Central Asia for centuries. Indeed Ibn Battuta waxes lyrical about them. Our group ate melon, both water melon and a pale yellow-fleshed variety every day. Sometimes from one city to another they would be sweeter then others, but we all agreed unanimously that they were the best melons we had ever eaten. It's good to see that some things never change.
