Nile delta
A timeless scene in the Nile delta. The delta is a fan-shaped mosaic of patchwork green interlaced with canals, irrigation ditches, small streams, and levees where agriculture is practised much the same as it has been for centuries. Transportation methods have not changed much either - here one of the principal ways of getting around - donkey and cart.
