Al-Azhar Mosque

The marble courtyard of Al-Azhar Mosque. Built in 969AD by the Fatimids and named for the Prophet's daughter, Fatima al-Zahra, it is the oldest university in the world and is still a center of Islamic theology with students attending from all over the world. The marble courtyard is original.
