Tourbet al Bey-1
Tourbet al-Bey, Tunis medina
One of the rooms of the tombs of the 18th century Husseinite Beys of Tunis. One headstone indicates the grave is that of a man, two - one at the head and another at the feet, indicates the grave of a woman. They are buried in different rooms. The hats atop the headstones are indicative of rank and time - the earlier graves have turbans and the others have fezzes.
