Green eyes in at-Tawila
at-Tawila
These children followed us round the charming northerh highland village of at-Tawila. The faces and skin colorings are mixed - despite the highlands' insularity it reflects the mix of peoples who make up present-day Yemen. It is not unusual to come across a child with green or blue eyes and blond hair like this little boy in the center.
